Hurricane Dorian severely impacted the Bahamian Islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama in 2019. It is estimated that at least 40% of the homes and buildings were either under 5-15’ of water or the 200+ mph wind gusts had completely leveled them down to the foundations.

A local center was set up for donations needed for immediate relief. We thank many from all over Greater Charleston for coming to the aid of our brothers and sisters in the Bahamas.

Charleston churches partnered together to assist with funding and support for pastors and their families in the Bahamas. We pray that the coming together of the body of Christ in this way was both a help and blessing to pastors in the process of rebuilding.
Starting in October 2019 we partnered to send teams to assist the people who were devastated during hurricane Dorian. We sent teams from October 21st through 2020. This will be a long endeavor getting life as known back to normality.
So that every man, woman, and child has repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the Gospel.
